A White Christmas In Tennessee

White Christmas In Tennessee

I hope everyone had a fun Christmas, and I hope many cats and dogs found new homes this year. For Christmas I got a new bed and lots of tuna. Yummy tuna!! My friend Smash got some doggy treats and a new bed also. I discovered my bed is comfortable no matter which way it is turned. I have not eaten all the tuna, but I will!!

Did everyone in Tennessee enjoy the white Christmas? I am not so sure about this white stuff everyone calls snow. It is clod and gets my paws wet when I step in it. My skin family and friends did something called sledding. I am not sure why they wanted to slide down hills only to have to walk back up and do it again. Then again I do not understand to many things they do. As long as I get fed, petted, and loved I am happy.

Remember to be safe in the new year, and adopt a new friend from your local animal shelter.

A Cat For Christmas?

How To Wrap A Cat For Christmas

Some people think this is funny! I do not think I want to be a present for Christmas. I would rather get presents!! I think more like Garfield. I will give my skin family a lot of love and many times for laughter.

However, if you do plan to give a cat to someone for Christmas, you can find one at your local pet shelter.

Have a Merry Christmas everyone!!

Cats And Christmas

Cats And Christmastime

Meow to everyone! It is a cold day here in Tennessee. I am spending my time inside. My friend Smash agrees with me that it is a good day to curl up and stay warm.

My favorite place to be is in my skin mommy's lap while she is typing for me on the computer. My skin mommy takes good care of me. She feeds me, opens the door for me, pets me, and most of all loves me.

I heard her say we are getting a Christmas tree this Saturday. She is even going to bring it inside the house and put what she calls decorations on it. I don't know why people want to cut down a tree in the Spirit of Christmas and put the tree in the house when there are plenty of trees outside. Then again I am a cat and when the tree is in the house I have something new to explore.

I also remembered something else. People wrap boxes in pretty paper and put then under the tree that they cut down and bring inside. I wonder what will be under the tree for me and my friend Smash. I think I want some toys, and catnip. Smash says he would like a big juicy bone.

Well I am going to take a nap for now. I hope everyone has a great day, and remember to feed, pet, and love the cat. Meow!

Link the Cat From the Animal Shelter

Link The Cat

Hello everyone! I am Link the Cat. I came to be with my humans about two and a half years ago from the animal shelter. I was just a wee little kitten then and I did not know much about the world. Today I am a big tuxedo cat living a good life with my family. My friend is Smash Ogre. He is a dog, but he is fun to play with.

I have the run of the house most of the time although the human pets think they are in charge. Smash rules the outdoors and together we are teaching our human pets how to have fun in life. I have been helping my human mom learn how to get rid of stress and just chill out for a while. Sometimes I think humans try to make life difficult for the challenge, but it is easier to just chill and make life interesting by doing what makes you feel good.

During the day I either hang out inside like today (It is raining.) or on sunny days I go explore the great outdoors. I have learned that mice, moles and squirrels are fun to chase. I don't like to eat them, but playing chase is fun. I play chase with my friend Smash Ogre. He is super cool for a dog.

Well this is me, Link the Cat!! Meow!!
